since crosby's birth, his eyes have been shut almost exclusively.  

every once in a while, one eye will squint open or both eyes will flutter for a brief second.  

but, yesterday, for the first time, he opened both eyes wide and kept them open.  

it made me feel so connected to him and made him seem bigger.  

i loved it so much.  (and i caught it on film!)
