duke has been in town these past few days and lily is thrilled. ryan and i have taken a back seat and she is adoring every moment she has with him!

dc whirlwind -

we did a fast and furious tour of dc this weekend and it was great. it was almost 80 degrees and it felt so good to spend a day outside. lily absolutely loved the museums and her little legs felt so proud to do lots of the walking on the mall.

and to make the trip even better, we got to meet beautiful ellison - our wonderful friends, andrew and lisa's, new baby girl. she is perfect and it felt so good to hold her in our arms. congratulations!!

snow day.

we got more snow last night than we've seen here all winter. lily woke up to a winter wonderland and she thought she'd love being out in it... and while she didn't exactly love getting down into the snow, she did feel like hot stuff wearing her ladybug boots!
