::reunion::

this past weekend, some of our most cherished friends from z'ville were here in town. adam and katie had a wedding here and so they had come to c'ville for the weekend and andrew and lisa very graciously made the trip down, too. it was so wonderful to have them all in town and it is amazing how easy it is to pick right back up with good friends. we spent yesterday around town and just relaxing and catching up... and of course falling in love with baby ellison. she was such a good sport and put up with all of the demands we placed on her and was absolutely perfect. this morning, lily was quite sad to find that mr. adam and baby ellison were no longer our guests! thank you guys so much for spending time with us! we miss you very much already!!

could he be a sweeter dad??

lovely lovely...

we just spent the last week soaking up every minute that ryan had off. it felt like a small piece of heaven to have no agenda and to spend the whole week together as a family. we spent part of our time here and part of our time on the beach in south carolina. it was absolutely wonderful. lily could not have been happier to have her daddy to herself and to get to spend time with kathy and brandon as well. she was so content!

and we were able to meet two beautiful new babies while on our trek. sadly, i was so excited to meet the sweet ones, that i neglected to bring my camera! but, it was so good to see you, preston and kristi and mike and kirsten. and we were so happy to meet eli and margaret! congrats!!

easter goodness...

lily enjoyed her inaugural experience of dying easter eggs today. she loved every minute of it and only one egg was lost shattered to the floor. not too bad!

mental note for me for future easters... white eggs would probably have worked better! oops! :)
