this past weekend, my siblings and i planned a covert operation to surprise my dad on his birthday. mind you, this was not a numerically significant birthday, but why not have a good reason to get together and celebrate? we were all quite impressed with our sneakiness as we showed up to his office on his bday and lily walked right on in. i think he was completely taken aback and it was wonderful to be together.
(side note: poor sammy was unable to attend - and we missed you dearly!)
